3DN have contributed two articles to a Dementia Awareness Month special issue published by the Australian Journal of Dementia Care.

The first article, written by Rachael Birch and Julian Trollor, presents findings from our study into fragile X-associated tremor ataxia syndrome, one of the most common inherited causes of dementia and movement disorder in mid-life.

In the second article, Elizabeth Evans, Clancy Black and Julian Trollor describe the Successful Ageing in Intellectual Disability (SAge-ID) study, which aims to identify risk factors and tools for screening and assessing dementia in people with intellectual disability, as well as developing an improved model of care.
