About the role
$69,355 – $78,487 and 9.5% Superannuation and annual leave loading ·
Fixed Term for 12 months with the excellent prospect of renewal ·
Part-time (21 hours per week)
 
Funded by an NHMRC-ARC Dementia Research Training Fellowship, the Research Assistant will assist with all aspects of the project, including undertaking literature reviews, liaising with participants and carers, data collection and cleaning, assisting with data analysis, and contributing to publications and presentations.
 
About you
The School of Psychiatry is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Research Assistant to work in the field of Intellectual Disability Mental Health. The position is offered at The Department of Developmental Disability Neuropsychiatry, which has been set up by the Inaugural Chair in Intellectual Disability Mental Health at UNSW to generate translational research and advocacy in the area of intellectual disability mental health. The successful applicant will have highly developed written and verbal communication skills including writing for, and presenting to, a range of audiences, demonstrated experience in data analysis and the use of software such as SPSS and an Honours Degree in psychology or another relevant discipline.
