3DN received funding to develop an intellectual disability mental health training program for Northern Sydney Local Health District.
The project involves the design and creation of education/training materials that builds capacity of general and mental health staff within NSLHD, as well as community managed organisations, working with people with intellectual disability. This includes the development of three one-day training sessions and the development and delivery of a one-day Train-the-Trainer workshop. Delivery and evaluation of the training materials is also part of this project. The work within this project forms part of the Intellectual Disability Mental Health Specialist Team and Training Program (STP).
