Co-designing the Knowledge Exchange Hub

| 03 Oct 2024

The National Centre of Excellence in Intellectual Disability Health is building a Knowledge Exchange Hub.

The Knowledge Exchange Hub is called the KEH for short.

The Hub will be an online space where people can

  • share information,
  • access resources, and
  • connect with each other

about intellectual disability health.

The Hub is being co-designed with people with intellectual disability, families and supporters and people working in health, disability, advocacy, government, and research.

The KEH Advisory Group

The Knowledge Exchange Hub Advisory Group is being developed so people can get involved its co-design. The Advisory Group is bringing people and organisations from partners and collaborators of the Centre, and other people from all over Australia together.

The Group will shape

  • what the KEH is called,
  • what it will look like,
  • how it will be used and,
  • what resources and information will be on it.

31 people have already joined the KEH Advisory Group.

On 11 September we had an online drop-in session where people met and talked about being on the Group.

On 18 and 20 September, people from the Group participated in ‘User Experience’ workshops that were the start of shaping the Hub.

We would like to thank everyone who is a part of the KEH Advisory Group!

We are excited to see what we can create together.
