Improving people with intellectual disability’s understanding of health information

We are looking for people with intellectual disability to take part in our research study

UNSW Sydney’s School of Education and the Department of Developmental Disability Neuropsychiatry (3DN) are doing a research study.

They are looking for people with intellectual disability to take part.

They want to know how health information can be shown so that people with intellectual disability can understand the information better.

The study will involve going to UNSW Sydney 2 times. Each time, the researchers will ask people with intellectual disability to:

  • Read some information about a health topic
  • Answer some questions about the health topic.

Each session will take approximately one hour. Across both sessions, the study will take 2 hours in total.

People who take part in the study will receive a $50 Coles-Myer gift card each time they go to UNSW Sydney to take part. People who take part in both sessions will receive a total of $100 in Coles-Myer gift cards.
