Health care for people with less common types of dementia

We have created a variety of evidence-based resources for people living with less common types of dementia, care partners, and health professionals.

These resources have come out of a project that is using 'big data' to understand the health status, service use, and service pathways of people with less common types of dementia. Find out more about the project.

Self-harm and dementia fact sheets

We have created fact sheets about the health service needs for people who have dementia and a history of self-harm. Download the fact sheet:

These fact sheets have come from a study that used linked data from a large sample of people living with dementia who had been admitted to hospital, went to the emergency department, or used outpatient mental health services in NSW. Find out more about this study.

Palliative care toolkits and resources

We have made a toolkit for people with intellectual disability and their supporters about palliative care for people with intellectual disability.

There is information in Easy Read, and an Easy Read story about a made-up person called Joe getting good palliative care.

See all toolkits and resources.
